TourForge ("we," "our," or "us") is a tour management platform built for touring artists, bands, tour managers, and crew. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect your information when you use the TourForge mobile application and website (collectively, the "Service").
By using TourForge, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

How We Use Your Data
- To provide the Service — syncing your tour data across devices, generating reports, powering AI features (Tour Brain, AI Scanner Suite), and enabling real-time team collaboration
- To process payments — managing your subscription through Stripe
- To improve the product — understanding how features are used so we can make them better
- To communicate with you — sending account-related notifications, responding to support requests, and (with your consent) sharing product updates
- To generate anonymized insights — aggregated, anonymized data may be used to power industry benchmarking features (e.g., "How You Compare"). Individual user data is never exposed
How We Store and Protect Your Data
All data is encrypted in transit (TLS/SSL) and at rest. Our infrastructure is hosted on secure, SOC 2-compliant cloud servers. Database access is restricted to authorized services only — no human has direct access to production user data in the normal course of operations.
Payment information is processed and stored entirely by Stripe, which is PCI DSS Level 1 certified. We never see or store your full credit card number.
Who We Share Data With
We do not sell your data. We share information only with the following parties, and only as necessary to provide the Service:
- Stripe — for payment processing and subscription management
- Cloud infrastructure providers — for hosting and data storage
- Analytics services — anonymized usage data only, to help us understand product usage
We may also disclose information if required by law, subpoena, or court order, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of TourForge, our users, or the public.
Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access your data — request a copy of all data we hold about you
- Export your data — download your tour data in a portable format
- Delete your account — request deletion of your account and all associated data
- Opt out of benchmarking — choose not to have your anonymized data included in industry benchmarking features
- Correct your data — update or correct any inaccurate information
To exercise any of these rights, contact us at [email protected].
Data Retention
Your data is retained for as long as your account is active. If you cancel your subscription, your data is retained for 90 days to allow for reactivation. After 90 days, all account data is permanently deleted. Comped and beta accounts follow the same retention policy.
Anonymized, aggregated data that has already been incorporated into industry benchmarks is not deleted, as it cannot be traced back to any individual user or account.
Cookies and Tracking
The TourForge website uses essential cookies for session management and authentication. We use privacy-respecting analytics (Umami) to understand website traffic — this does not use cookies and does not track individual users across sites.
The TourForge mobile app does not use cookies. It collects anonymized usage data for product improvement, which can be disabled in your account settings.
Children's Privacy
TourForge is not intended for use by anyone under the age of 13 (or 16 in the European Union). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we learn that we have collected data from a child under these ages, we will delete it promptly.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will notify you via email or through a notice in the app. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
